I had a hard time believeing this was a 4 star hotel......... there where scratches on the outter part of the door. it is in need of a remodel. I could hv sworn i saw a rat the first night...... the room was booked for 5 nights and due to the rat incident i stayed two nights by a friend and when i came back they had placed a couple in my room and chked me out even though it was pd for already.......they couldve at least verified that i was chkn out first what the sense of given them a phone number.

My family and I stayed two nights. Service was great and staff were friendly and helpful with directions. The hotel is near everything; if you have a car. The green line is expanding that way and by the end of summer 2010 the hotel will be right across from a stop on the DART train. Instant downtown access. The Dallas/FtWorth train goes by all day about 6am till 11pm, so if trains bother you ask for a room away from the front. I love trains and had a front room. I slept like a baby! Facilities were clean and well run. There is not a breakfast buffet every morning but they will cook to order like an IHOP.

It may be conveniently located if you want to take the shuttle that only runs once every hour. There is nothing in walking distance, and I mean nothing!. The restaurant didn't open until 6 PM. My room was across the hall from vending and the ice machine kept me awake all night. And lastly, the room was a freezing 63 degrees and try as I might I couldn't adjust the thermostat. The front desk instructed me to turn the heat on for a while but that never brought it below 63 either. I just gave up and turned it off.

Nice sized room. Hotel has coffee bar, restaurant and free shuttle service that can get you downtown or to Uptown(upscale restaurant/shopping area) in a few minutes (nothing of interest within walking distance of hotel). Very clean with helpful staff. Good experience.

the room itself was very nice, comfortable bed, great flat screen t.v. and good shower. However, I don't like hotels with individual serving coffee pots. We never had enough cups and when they said they would bring us some more, they didn't. One day, we returned to our room at 4:00 p.m. and the room still hadn't been made up. That made me furious as I was very tired. Also, as one previous reviewer wrote, the train came by quite regularly and tooted the horn, which was disturbing.
